Classes that we offer:
Fly Casting:  Sam Teague and Joe Capozoli are our FFF certified casting instructors.  Two hour
casting lessons are by appointment.  All equipment is provided unless the student prefers to
bring their own.  The courses range from introductory to experienced.  Whether you are a true
novice or a good caster looking to gain accuracy, distance or control, Joe and Sam are the guys
you need.  The lessons take place in the large casting area pictured above.

Two people $45 each
Fly Tying Roundtable:
Date/Time:  We need your input!!!!  We want to do this once a month.  Email the shop with
ideas for days and times!!!

The roundtable leadership will rotate between Ken Moser, Joe Capozoli, and Tony Friedrich.  
Ken is and experienced tier and teaches our beginner classes.  He placed 3rd in the 2004 Pa
State Fly Tying Championship.  Joe is an experienced saltwater tier known throughout the
country for Joe's Grass Shrimp seen in the Orvis stores.  Tony is a very innovative tier and is
known for larger saltwater patterns as well as gummi minnows, Henlopen flies, silicone flies.  
This roundtable is for experienced tiers and is held in our tying room upstairs.  Bring your vise,
tools, and materials. Material will be provided for the newest patterns.  Here is your chance to
learn some new techniques from our experienced tiers and maybe for you to teach them a few
tricks of your own.
Beginner Fly Tying:
This course is four sessions, two hours each, and limited to 3 to 4 students.  Vises, tools, and
materials will be provided. The course normally runs one day a week for four weeks.  However,
the dates and times can be mutually by the students ad instructor. This course teaches the
basic techniques by tying freshwater patterns during the first three sessions and saltwater
patterns in the last session.  Patterns will include Woolly Bugger, Elk Hair Caddis, Hare;s Ear,
Royal Wulff, muddler Minnow, Lefty's deceiver, Clouser, and Clouser Floating Minnow.  Call the

Private Lessons:  So, you know how to tie the basics and are looking for some help to get to
the next level?  Ask about a private lesson.  It will be a two hour session and scheduled by
appointment.
